A TechSmith account is required for you to easily share your videos with others via text message or email. The account also allows you to login and see all the videos that you have shared with others and viewed.
Coach’s Eye uploads your video to our server and creates a unique URL for you to share. Who you share it with is up to you. We currently allow you to choose Unlisted or Public.
Currently, publicly shared videos can be seen in the Explore tab of the Coach’s Eye app. They can also show up on our Leaderboard if they have a lot of views.
The easiest way to do this is to click the video link and then log into your TechSmith account. Once you have done that you can change the privacy setting for that video and any others that you have shared.

Coach’s Eye will run on any devices listed below as long as you have iOS 6 or later installed.
Coach's Eye 2.6 and later requires iOS 6 to take advantage of functionality in the OS that allow us to provide the best product possible. Older versions of Coach's Eye will still function on iOS 5. While we understand some users are reluctant to upgrade to iOS 6, we feel the features that Apple makes available in new versions of iOS are compelling enough for us to require these updates.

Developing and supporting Android is very different than iOS / Apple. There are over 1,000 Android devices with different screen sizes, camera qualities and capabilities and over 15 different versions of the Android operating system (OS) on those different devices. We are doing our best to support all of the devices and versions of the Android OS. There are some instances where we know we do not work as expected and some cases where we do not know there is an issue until it is reported. Thank you for your patience as we continue to make this a world class application that enables you to improve your athletic performance.

There are lots of variations of internet browsers on Android phones and not all of them recognize that you have Coach's Eye installed on your device. We recommend you download the Chrome browser from the Google Play store and use that to import a video from www.coachseye.com into your app.
Yes. The main goal of import is to support importing from your camera’s Gallery. There are many other videos from non-phone cameras that are either unsupported or untested.
You can record using Coach's Eye, but not with your phone's camera app. We have to use certain hardware components to get the video either useable by Coach's Eye or viewable by others. These are some of the same components used when recording a video with your phone's camera app.
In order to control some of the differences on Android devices we have a fixed aspect ratio that will be smaller on bigger screens. Download a list of known issues on known devices
Please see the above link to see if your phone is known to have an issue. Some of the common issues are below:
There are two steps for sharing a video our app must perform. First, the video needs to be made into sharable format. Progress will be shown in your notification bar. The second step is that the video must be shared and leave your device. The success and failures of these steps will show up in your notification bar at the top of your phone that you can drag down for more information.
We recommend trying to share only one video at a time over WiFi. We will queue up videos to be made and shared, but this hinders performance and may cause other videos to fail.
Yes. By clicking on the failure notification in the notification bar, the app will retry to either make the video or send/upload it.
There could be a couple of issues: 1. There is no thumbnail, but the video is there, so just click Play.
2. It never uploaded and in that case see “How can I see if my shares were successful?”

Different phones have different screen sizes and it is helpful to know which devices that are having the issue. A few things to try: scrub the wheel just above the flywheel, scrub the wheel more in the center and stay away from the sides and touch lightly rather than pressing firmly on the wheel.
We do not have a known issue for this yet and have only seen one report of it for the Galaxy Nexus.
The app is highly reliant upon the quality of the camera on the device. We do something special to the video so you are able to scrub it and some cameras are just not responsive enough to capture all of the action. Here are a a couple of things to try to get better performance:
